Terms & conditions

We use the information you provide us to perform several tasks which support our market research objectives. Your information is used internally and is never shared with our clients or third parties. Below is a list of functions we perform using the information you provide:

You agree to only use this website in accordance with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws.

The offer by Power of Opinions to take part in surveys and research and your acceptance of that offer by providing the information that we request brings into existence a legally binding agreement (The Agreement) between us.

Once you have submitted your answers to our joining questionnaire you become a member of the Power of Opinions Research Panel.

This Agreement is a contract for the provision of services and nothing in this Agreement shall create or be deemed to create a legal partnership or the relationship of agent and principal or the relationship of employer and employee between you and the Company.

Power of Opinions shall:

Consider your eligibility to take part in each of its surveys

List what awards you get for participating in surveys

Power of Opinions has no obligation in respect of any tax due on the Reward given to a member and the member shall be responsible for declaring any income received from Power of Opinions under this Agreement.

Provide you with a copy of the information we hold about you - within 10 days from receiving your request - at no cost for you.

When signing up to our panel, you agree a code of conduct, which includes, but is not limited:

Provide accurate and real information about your name, DOB, address, age.

You are aged 18+.

You reside in UK, which includes England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland regions.

You have a legit, UK based PayPal account, should you wish to redeem your points for PayPal transactions.

Update your personal details, each time they have changed.

Keep your login details (email and password) private and do not share them with anyone.

Message us should you wish to terminate your account.

As part of our panel, you must double-opt in to ensure your membership is active; this means having an email address, that you have access to, where you will be emailed a link to confirm your account. If you cannot confirm your account, your membership will not be active, and your profile will be deleted after 90 days.

It is a mandatory requirement, that you provide you real name and postcode, when you join. Failing to do so, your membership will be revoked.

We run periodical audits of our memberships, if your profile is flagged as having false information (eg: Name, Age, Location or Gender), your account will be deleted, and your points forfeit.

Please select a password that is secure (combination of numbers, letters, and symbols), longer than 6 characters.

Do not share your password with anyone.

We do not have access to your password, if you're having trouble logging in, or you've forgot your password, please use the reset password link or email reply@powerofopinions.co.uk requesting assistance.

All the data provided by you in our surveys, be that text, audio, video, imagery, or any other format, is the sole property of ALL GLOBAL MEDIA. By signing up to Power of Opinions, you agree for any information you provide in our studies to be used as per our needs.

If you do not wish for your data to be used or shared, you can unsubscribe at any point.

We do not accept any intellectual data rights compensation requests for any of the information provided in our studies, whilst you were a member of Power of Opinions.

Power of Opinions and ALL GLOBAL MEDIA shall not be liable for any error of judgment or mistake of law or for any loss suffered by any panelist, if applicable, in connection with your membership and usage of the Power of Opinions panel and website.

Other than as provided in this agreement, Power of Opinions makes no other warranties, express or implied, and hereby disclaims all implied warranties, including any warranty of merchantability and warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

All your information is strictly confidential and will not be shared outside our agreement. It will only be used by Power of Opinions for the research surveys that you sign up for and will not be shared with a third party. We are compliant with GDPR regulation; as part of this implementation - you now have the right to ask for a copy of the records on information we hold about you; this is free of charge and it take up to 30 days to be processed.

If you wish to request such information - please email - reply@powerofopinions.co.uk with the subject Record Information Request and let us know your membership details.

You can opt-out of this agreement at any time, by a) unsubscribing from the panel, using the unsubscribe link in your account page or the unsubscribe link in any of the surveys you take part in; b) by requesting via email (reply@powerofopinions.co.uk) to be forgotten.

Please allow up to 7 days for the unsubscribe request to be processed and 30 days for your right to be forgotten to be processed.

Any changes to your current terms and conditions or use policy, you will be notified by email 30 days in advance; you have the right to withdraw from this agreement at any time in the 30 days’ notice, by unsubscribing, otherwise it's assumed you accept our amended terms and conditions or use policy.

The entire Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any dispute(s) arising in connection with this Legal Notice are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.

You can request a copy of the entire agreement, by emailing reply@powerofopinions.co.uk. Please allow 30 days for this to be processed.

You assign all rights, title and interest in any information you provide the Power of Opinions. If for any reason such assignment is ineffective, you agree to grant Power of Opinions a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty free, worldwide right and license to use, reproduce, disclose, sub-license, distribute, modify and exploit such Feedback without restriction.

You can terminate your obligations from this agreement, at any time by a) unsubscribing from the panel, using the unsubscribe link in your account page or the unsubscribe link in any of the surveys you take part in; b) by requesting via email (reply@powerofopinions.co.uk) to be forgotten.

Please allow up to 7 days for the unsubscribe request to be processed and 30 days for your right to be forgotten to be processed.

This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Any dispute(s) arising in connection with this Legal Notice are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales.
